We would like to take a moment here to define "custom built" fishing equipment.

Custom rods are built to individual specifications one component at a time. To that ends the component items themselves may or may not have been modified to comply with the specific design specifications.

Guide choice or placement, wrap patterns and colors, handle design, blank type and lengths, additional Inlays, along with a few other items are all variables that you the customer decide. J & J will be there to guide & assist you with these decisions at every step.

Each completed custom rod is balanced to a specific weight reel to insure a true fulcrum point balance. This step not only enhances the rod's performances it will significantly increase the overall sensitivity of that rod.

Personalized, custom fishing rods are a great gift idea!

Finally each rod is personalized and serial numbered registered to each particular owner. Most of our custom fishing rods are built as individual items; however sets of up to eight or more have been made in the past. We have found that a good portion of our custom rods are given as gifts, birthdays, Christmas, retirement, graduations, promotions, etc.
